Happy Onam

The day started with prayers. My friends Arika and Vivan, with their Moms, joined in the prayers.

After giving Naivedyam to Amboti I, along with Mamma and Dadda, started serving the food to everyone.

As an OnaSadya is supposed to be, the food was so filling that we were almost tired eating all the food.

After the sumptuous Ona Sadya we all rested in my playroom..that me with Santhosh Uncle, Arika's Dadda, with Ashu Uncle and my dear friend Arika.

Then of course was the time for a group picture...Say Cheese :)

Storyland, NH

Watching the commercial of Storyland on PBS kids always made me wish to visit the place.

After Mamma Dadda told me about our plans to go there, every single day of the week  I would wake up hoping today was the day.
And finally it was!

We started pretty early in the morning and were there by 8:30ish. Of the 3 hours (drive), mine was mostly spent in sleeping. After we reached, as expected, there was no stopping me. We started with one of my fav rhymes - 1-2 buckle my shoe, 3-4 knock at the door. But this is how I sang it this time :)

That was followed by lots of fun in the balls, pretend lion and lots of other fun stuff.

Then I bumped into mamma's friend Robin and her family. And while we were talking to them, arrived my buddy Ananya. Of course that added on to my enthusiasm.

Then we did lots of fun rides, ate, took a nap followed by more rides

The best part, which I totally enjoyed, was playing in the water sprinkler area. It was as if someone had attached spring to my feet.

It was a great day. But after reaching the hotel I just crashed, without even having my dinner.

The next day we went to the indoor water play area at the Red Jacket Inn. But all I did was the water slide. I totally refused to even try out the water basketball area or any other play areas. Thats when Dad Mom figured that its time to take me to the pool for swimming lessons. Lets see when that happens!
