First Day @ School

When I woke up this morning the first thing Mamma did was gave me a shower, which sure was a little unusual. After the shower I was made to pray in front of Amboti (God). Hardly did I know what was in store for the day.

Daddy was all set to take me to school and as you can see so was I

When I reached there I saw so many new toys, new friends..

You know there was a welcome board too... with me and my friend's family name on it

I had a great day. And here's me with my teachers - Erin and Samantha

Picnic @ Bellingham Commons Park

It was a long but fun day....My first picnic @ a park - Bellingham Commons
with Mom's friends.
Daddy dropped Mamma and me in the morning @ Satya Aunty's house where I had my lunch.

After which we left for the park. I met Jill, Lisa and Corey there. I did all kindda fun stuff - right from posing for pictures

to pulling Jills ear ring(which she had to finally remove)


to sliding - all thanks to Samiha


and of course chatting with everyone :)


The only thing that I didnt like was that everyone around was eating yummy food but all I was given was those water bottles to play with :(


I did hear Mamma and Satya praising about some 'Bean Salsa' that Lisa prepared and I guess they took the recipe too. I hope I will get to eat it some day....

It was Daddy's 'Special Bday' today...First one as a father...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!
Mamma wanted to do something special but unfortunately it was the same day that Ammamma and Nanu were leaving for India after a 3 months great vacation here. So we kept it a lil low..
We all took Daddy out for lunch to a Mexican Restaurant...We had our lunch and when it was time to pay... a couple of guys unexpectedly (for Dad...cus Mamma and Ammamma knew about it since it was their plan for a surprise) gathered and suddenly started singing a Bday song...


It was so loud and sudden for me that I burst out crying...Sorry Daddy :(


They gave us an ice cream which only Mamma and Daddy had. Wait till I grow up a bit...All you will get is to see me eat ice creams :)


He loved the plesant surprise.



In the evening it was time to drop Ammamma and Nanu @ the airport which undoubtedly made all of us upset...esp me :(


It was a day with totally contradicting emotions...
